Profile / Duties

The Data Protection Officer of the CPVO ensures that the Regulation (EC) 45/2001 is correctly implemented in the CPVO and that the transition to the new Regulation (repealing Regulation (EC) 45/2001) is swiftly reflected in CPVO’s data protection practice. The trainee will assist the Data Protection Officer in the following tasks:

 - Documenting data processing related activities

- Drafting privacy statements

- Managing data processing register and updating the related inventory

- Communicating with data subjects and data controllers

- Conduction data protection audits and risk assessments

 Please note that applications can be sent to the Office in any of the official EU languages; knowledge of multiple EU languages is considered an asset.

Contractual Conditions

The successful candidate will be offered a traineeship of 6 months.
