Profile / Duties

Under the supervision of the Communication Officer, the Communication trainee will be involved on a wide range of communication projects aimed at promoting the CPVO activities to relevant stakeholders, the public and the media. In particular, the Communication trainee will be active in:

The CPVO is a dynamic and multicultural working environment where the communication trainee will receive guidance from experienced professionals and where she/he will be able to use her/his creativity. This is an opportunity to gain experience with a European Union agency and be directly involved on visible pan-European communication projects.

Please note that applications can be sent to the Office in any of the official EU languages; knowledge of multiple EU languages is considered an asset.

Contractual Conditions

The successful candidate will be offered a traineeship of 12 months, not renewable.

Grant: trainees will be awarded a monthly traineeship grant, equal to 25% of basic salary for EU officials in grade AD5 step 1 as of 31.12.2020, plus the correction coefficient for France (for information: 1.481,33 € in 2021).

The place of traineeship is Angers, France. Depending on the sanitary situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the traineeship may be carried out remotely (partly or entirely).

Start date:  1 October 2021
