The Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) in Angers invites applications for a traineeship of 12 months.

Profile / Duties

The Quality Audit Service (QAS) of the CPVO performs assessments of Examination Offices independently of the management of CPVO. The output of the assessment process is a recommendation. Based on this recommendation, the CPVO Administrative Council takes its decision with respect to entrustment of an examination office for a defined set of species. The trainee will assist mainly the QAS Team Leader, but will also have shared tasks with the Accountancy of the CPVO in the following tasks:

- Development and implementation of cost calculation procedures to be taken up by QAS in its assessment  exercises;

- Communicating with auditees, principally the financial units of examination offices; 

- Documenting and processing of cost calculations provided by examination offices;

- Enhancement of the QAS internal data management system;

- Support in cost accounting matters to the CPVO’s Accountancy sector;

Any spare capacity may be put to other areas, such as the Internal Control of the CPVO.
